Subscription Information:

If you purchase a premium subscription, we collect and process subscription status, purchase receipts, and entitlement information through Apple's in-app purchase system and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment card information.

App Usage Information:

Interactions within the app (such as riddles attempted, completion status, streaks, session duration, and feature usage).

Device information such as operating system, device type, and app version for performance monitoring.

Optional User Content:

Display name.

Preferences related to difficulty, notifications, or themes.

Feedback or support messages.

We do not collect sensitive personal information, health data, financial data, or precise location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and maintain the Riddle app.
  • Process and manage your subscription and premium features.
  • Personalize your riddle experience and track progress.
  • Improve app features, performance, and reliability.
  • Communicate with you regarding updates, support, or service announcements.
  • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or technical issues.

Your data is never used for purposes unrelated to the service without your consent.

Your data is securely stored using encrypted cloud infrastructure located in Australia or in regions with equivalent data-protection standards.

  • Encrypted storage.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our systems to maintain the highest standards of protection.

We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate Riddle, including:

  • Cloud hosting providers.
  • Analytics services (to improve app performance).
  • Authentication providers (for secure login and account management).
  • Subscription management services (RevenueCat and Apple) to process and manage subscriptions.

All partners are required to meet strict data-protection standards and may only use your information for authorized purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

Riddle uses third-party services for authentication and subscription management. These services operate under their own privacy policies and are selected based on strong data-protection practices.

Subscription Services:

  • Apple In-App Purchases (managed by Apple Inc.)
  • RevenueCat (subscription management platform)

6. Account Deletion

You may request to delete your account at any time.
Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our active systems in accordance with applicable laws and retention requirements.

Note: Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID. To cancel your subscription, you must do so through your App Store account settings.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Australia.

Any significant changes will be communicated through the app or other appropriate channels before taking effect.
